About Me.....
I'm Laura Charlotte Wood born 28th October 1994. We have always lived in Collingham Newark Notts and I've been riding since the age of 4. I started riding with my nan, she borrowed a pony from her good friend who ran riding for the disabled. She borrowed a little White Grey Shetland pony called Misty and off we went. I've always been crazy into horses all through primary school and all the way through secondary school. I studied at Tuxford Academy and I would of spent each day in the stables instead if I could. I studied Accountancy and Business at Newark College hoping to become and accountant. But the office hours just weren't for me and I left an office job wondering what to do next... That is when LCW Equestrian came into the picture.
I had many great ponies and we have competed mostly showing. However after getting the courage to jump, after my 14.2hh pony Roger jumped out of his field. I am now into Working Hunter and I wouldn't do anything but...even though we are successful in the Small Hunter classes. I have decided to show jump more and hopefully cross country and have more fun but still focusing majorly on the Working Hunter.
